Positive Discipline Workshop
22nd Jun 2019 @ 9:00 am – 12:30 pm
The Positive Discipline Workshop for parents will be presented on Saturday 22 June from (9h00 – 12h30) at R650 per couple (parents/guardians) attending. R520 per person attending if only one parent wants to join the group.
About this workshop
This is such a crucial workshop for any and all parents of babies and young children under the age of 12.
In this workshop, I hope to equip you as parents to face this aspect of parenting, head on and confidently, so as to get both of you on the same page with regards to this parenting issue. If parents can stand together as a united front, instead of being divided or conflicted in their beliefs, approaches and execution regarding discipline, they are working towards a common goal in their parenting role.
We will look at the motivation behind or the reasons for disciplining our children. We will look at the different parenting styles that we as partners bring to the table as well as the styles we would like to work towards. We will focus on the needed building blocks of positive discipline.
We will talk through difficult issues such as temper tantrums, giving hidings, naughty chairs or time outs, the difference between bribing and rewarding our children, all the while keeping age and temperament as well as personality differences in mind.
This is definitely one not to miss.
