Project Description

Free Online Counselling

The Humanitas Counselling Students are volunteering their time to offer free counselling services via Zoom.

The Humanitas Counselling Students are an amazing group of people. Most of them have either a degree or an honours degree in Psychology or Social Work and each one of them is passionate about working with people. They have recently completed their theoretical counselling training with the Vita Nova Counselling Centre and are now ready to start with their practical component of the course.

Due to the current COVID – 19 situation, Vita Nova has decided to allow the students to volunteer their time and effort, not only in the form of face to face counselling sessions at the amazing organisations and institutions who we have partnered with, but also to make their services available to the general public online via Zoom; free of charge.

Our Humanitas Counselling Students are ready and eager to connect, listen and talk with you. If you would like to book a free counselling session via Zoom – please have a look at the different people who are able to help. Choose the person you would like to book your session with and click on the whatsapp button under their profiles. They will get back to you as soon as possible.

You are not alone. Social distancing does not mean help is unavailable. Reach out and chat to one of our counselling students today.

Our students will respond within 24 hours of receiving your request, if said 24 hours fall within a work week. If your request was sent over a weekend, please be patient; our students will only receive your request on the Monday.
